The right fit comes down to three things: where you want the waist to sit, how much room you want through the thigh and knee, and how wide you want the hem. In this guide you'll find every men's and women's fit in the GAS Fall Winter 2026 collection, with measurements and tips to help you choose.
The three GAS denim families
Every pair of GAS jeans belongs to one of three lines. Knowing them helps you understand how the fabric will behave.
- Performance: stretch fabrics with excellent recovery, designed for skinny and slim fits that keep their shape all day.
- Authentics: rigid or comfort-stretch denim with vintage and stone-washed finishes. Fits from slim to wide, with a retro feel.
- Specials: the season's newest pieces, with more experimental fabrics, weights and washes.
How to read the measurements
For each style you'll find the rise, the leg shape and two measurements taken on the sample garment. The front rise is the distance from the crotch seam to the waistband: the higher it is, the higher the waist sits. The half leg opening is the width of the hem measured flat: the bigger it is, the wider the leg at the bottom.
Men's jeans fits
Skinny jeans: Sax Zip Rev

For a close fit that stays comfortable, Sax Zip Rev is our mid-rise skinny in 11.5 oz comfort denim, with a small amount of elastane. It comes in a dark raw rinse, a medium stone wash and a blue-black. For something extra, try Sax Zip Plus, with pocket edges finished in reverse-side fabric.
Slim jeans: Albert Simple Rev and Alex

The classic slims that go with everything. Albert is the most versatile pair in the collection, available in six washes from grey and blue-green to raw. Alex has a slightly narrower hem and a button fly. The signature version has a camouflage print inside, while Alex Selvedge is made in 12.5 oz selvedge denim with rips and repairs.
Chino jeans for the office: Sadeck WK and Alex Chino
Sadeck WK (new): mid rise · tapered leg, chino pockets · front rise 20.5 cm · half leg opening 17 cm
They have the shape of chinos, with slanted front pockets, but they're made in denim. Sadeck WK, new this fall, pairs with the Conrad WK jacket in the same wash. See also Alex Chino.
Tapered jeans: Tar
Tar: low crotch · leg narrow at the hem · front rise 25 cm · half leg opening 18 cm
For more room through the thigh and knee, the lower crotch of Tar gives you freedom at the top, and the leg narrows toward the ankle. It looks great with a cuffed hem and loafers.
Straight jeans: Max, Morris Rev and Frank Pant

For a straight, relaxed leg. Max is new this season: 12.5 oz 100% cotton, a button fly and three washes, including a faded black. Morris Rev is a little slimmer, in a comfort fabric. Frank Pant is the carpenter jean from the heritage line, with a side pocket and a workwear label.

To show off your shape. Both have a push-up detail at the back and a soft, breathable Premium Performance denim with lyocell. Star Up is low-rise, Britty Up Z is mid-rise.

If you like a low rise but not a skinny leg. Our new low-rise slim for fall, designed for a more laid-back look. It comes in a medium stone wash and a blue-grey.
Cigarette jeans: Beth
Beth: mid rise · straight, narrow leg · front rise 22.5 cm · half leg opening 17 cm
For warmth in winter. The cigarette leg is made in 11.6 oz Warm Touch denim, a fabric that holds in heat and lets your skin breathe.
Flare and bootcut jeans: Camilia Z, Star G Bootcut and Star Crop Flare

To lengthen your silhouette. A high waist and a flared hem make your legs look longer, especially with heels or ankle boots. Camilia Z is the widest flare. Star G Bootcut widens only slightly, while Star Crop Flare stops at the ankle and works well with loafers.
Wide-leg and mom-fit jeans: Nila, Carolina Pant and Olivia Chino

To follow the trend for relaxed volumes. Nila has a high waist and patch pockets at the front. Carolina Pant has a low rise, an elasticated waistband in a contrasting non-denim fabric and pleats, and pairs with the Carolina Shacket. Olivia Chino has the rounded shape of a mom fit and pairs with the Olivia skirt.
The wash changes the look
The same fit takes on a different character depending on the wash. A raw rinse, dark and even, is the most polished and works with a blazer. Medium stone washes with light abrasions on the pockets and hem are the most versatile for everyday wear. Black and grey washes are perfect for an urban, minimal look.

What is the difference between slim and skinny jeans?
Skinny jeans hug the leg all the way to the ankle. Slim jeans are tapered but leave a little more room, especially from the knee down.
Which jeans should I choose if I have muscular thighs?
Go for a fit with more room at the top, such as the tapered Tar or the straight Max and Morris Rev.
Are low-rise jeans back in style?

What is the difference between flare and bootcut jeans?
Bootcut jeans widen just below the knee to fit over a boot. Flares open up more: Camilia Z has a 26.5 cm half leg opening, compared with 24 cm on Star G Bootcut.
What does rigid denim mean?
It is denim without elastane, like the 100% cotton used for Max. It feels firmer at first and molds to your body as you wear it.
