Gas launches POP-UP Jeans

Born in the Artisanal Room, thanks to Gas’s research and development department, the POP-UP jeans is an extraordinary patented product resulting from more than one year of tests and trials.

It is much more than a superskinny 5-pocket: the “magic” of the Pop-Up Jeans consists of two anatomical caps in anallergic material inserted in two internal pockets positioned above the gluteus to make them look fuller.
This important project is supported by a strong communication strategy which involves the most popular media such as magazines, web sites, and stores and it will reach its climax on Friday the 8th of March which is also the International Women’s Day.

The event will take place in the Italian fashion capital, Milan, at the new GAS shop located inside the Coin store of V Giornate. The guest of honor will be one of the Most important actresses on the Italian screen, Laura Chiatti, who, with her femininity and sensuality, will make her the ideal model for exalting the unique characteristics of this product.

POP-UP Jeans, the Tea Party

On February 28th, at the Gas Jeans Showroom in Milan, there was an exclusive party for the preview of the innovative POP-UP Jeans. Thanks to a patented technology, it’s the answer to the women’s most common dream: a compact toned bottom that defies the laws of gravity!

The new Gas denim, going to become a must-have for all women, was presented to the most followed and influential bloggers in Italy who wore the jeans, paired it with one piece of the new Spring Summer 2013 collection and had a make up by Diego Palma.

A special and fun afternoon with influencers as Veronica Ferraro from The Fashion Fruit, Laura Manfredi from Rock’n Mode, Eleonora Petrella from It-Girl, Nicoletta Reggio from Scent of Obsession, Virginia Varinelli, Ilaria Ginevra and many others among the 50 most famous blogger of the country.

The FW 2012-13 denim trend for him

The Denim trend for A/W 2012-2013 is mainly for dark shades with an almost raw but very worked look.
Treatments go from sanding and light washes that result in a fluid look that is pleasing to the touch, to heavier ones, with discreet, sophisticated mends and patches, that use threads, patches, color spots and tone on tone dirtying.

Gas has also put a lot of thought into creating unusual effects in the indigo tone of the denim canvases, such as the two piece-overdyed canvases, one in an anthracite shade which has been further overdyed with a sulphur grey color, and the other obtained from a green cast indigo base overdyed with black to give a very deep teal color.

Gas Premium Denim Spring/Summer 2012

Gas Premium Denim is a forward-looking project that represents the highest expression of research and innovation in washes and technique, while at the same time having its roots in the brand’s origins and the industrial history of its founder, Claudio Grotto, that spans over four decades.

The package presents two high-impact washes, one in a light tone (W629) and one in a medium tone (W627). What they have in common is a destroyed look and a “real vintage” flavour given by a manufacture process with a handcrafted, sartorial imprint, a deep knowledge of the “Genoa canvas” and its numerous performance variables and an almost fanatical attention to detail.   The procedures used are among the most advanced and sophisticated in this sector, and include manual techniques that go from particularly evident tears, mends and patches to abrasions, localized dirty effects, 3D whiskering, color spots obtained with the brush-applied color, and drying on three-dimensional mannequins. The presentation packaging of these garments has been carefully thought-out down to the smallest detail. Each piece has a lived-in, genuine, absolutely unique and unrepeatable look and flavour!

The rage of styles explores the trendiest fits of the moment: the lean, skinny-leg body fit of the ANDERS (shop now) model for him and BEVERLEY (shop now) for her, and the opposite antifit, with the easy hips and low crotch of the men’s RAUL (shop now) and the women’s JACKLYN S (shop now) models.
