The 2014 S/S collection by Gas has taken strong inspiration from the sea and the maritime activities, from the dock workers clothing to the sailors’ one, from the sailing sporty look to the understated beach one.
The main focus of this collection is definitely the jackets, whose models are various and suit different tastes and styles: the colorful and bright down jackets, created in different designs, the classic Fancier, which has been realised in different materials, the bomber in faux leather or in nylon, the anorak and the field jacket.
Another iconic item that Gas revisited for this season is the polo t-shirt, which got painted in brand new and bright shades and vintage-inspired prints, such as jacquard and small anchors. Other patterns that enrich and characterize the garments of this collection are the evergreen camouflage print and the stripes, which recall the marine theme.
Great attention was given to the sartorial cut of the clothes, starting form the bottoms, especially to the rètro-looking chinos, with the addition of another new model, the Mert; the same goes for the shirts which mix classic and informal designs, a characteristic that is also reflected in the new product of this season, the Ryley model and in the Bob Gym trousers.
