GAS @ FUORISALONE 2011

World preview at Fuorisalone, Milan of the capsule collection of T-shirts born from the “Graphic Design Worlds” exhibition at the Milan Triennale.

Close ties with creativity and its always inventive approach led GAS, the well-known jeanswear brand, to embark on a new adventure as patron. Won over by the irrepressible creative force of the graphic designers exhibiting until 27 March as part of the “Graphic Design Worlds” exhibition at the Milan Triennale, organized by Giorgio Camuffo in collaboration with the brand, GAS has decided to continue this partnership by inviting some of the creatives to put themselves to the test by creating ad hoc graphics for a capsule collection of T-shirts with a high degree of creativity.

For the “Graphic Design Worlds” exhibition, the designers took an experimental approach in their interpretation of the reality that surrounds us, developing a dialogue between various sectors and disciplines such as art, music, fashion, cinema and architecture. With the backing of GAS, this interdisciplinary approach takes on form and substance, so that the wardrobe’s most basic item, the t-shirt, is given new value as a “blank canvas” to infuse with life and meaning through innovative stylistic codes.

The setting for presentation of the D-shirts in the GAS space at Superstudiopiù during Fuorisalone will be created by Giorgio Camuffo.

GAS & TRIENNALE DESIGN MUSEUM: a collaboration in the name of creativity

We are pleased to announce that GAS will be the main partner of Milan Triennale on occasion of GRAPHIC DESIGN WORLDS, an important exhibition by Giorgio Camuffo dedicated to the international graphic design, that will take place between January 26 and March 27, 2011.

This prestigious collaboration with one of the most important cultural organizations of the fashion and design Italian capital, highlights the innovative, unconventional spirit of the brand and enhances the company’s will to give to the young talents the chance to make their voice heard by showing their creative potential. An attitude that has taken new energy from 25 Days, the book-project born from GAS’s 25th anniversary.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on January 25, 2011 at 7 PM.
